NGC 1999 is an reflection nebula in the constellation Orion. This is located just south of M42. Processed in the CFHT HOS palette with Ha mapped to red, OIII mapped to green, and SII mapped to blue.

Images: An NB image with 133 subexposures of 15 minutes each with 43 of Ha, 47 of OIII, & 43 of SII for a total time of 33 hours & 15 minutes.
